Accreditation Public Notice

The land trust accreditation program recognizes land conservation organizations that meet national quality standards for protecting important natural places and working lands forever. Great Land Trust is pleased to announce it is applying for renewal of accreditation. A public comment period is now open.

GLT & the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service have teamed up to hold an Alaska Photo Contest! Help celebrate our public lands and waters by sharing your favorite photos.

Butte Photobooth & Ribbon Cutting

Great Land Trust and local photographer Willie Dalton are teaming up to bring you a “pop-up photobooth”…at the top of the Butte! In true Alaska fashion, hike the West Butte trail (1.5 miles each way) from 5-8pm Wednesday the 15th and get your picture taken at the summit. FREE. GLT will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony earlier that day at 4pm at the trailhead to celebrate the project.
