Along the western shore of Cook Inlet, next to the Dena’ina Athabascan village of Tyonek and the mouth of the Chuitna River, lies 160 acres of grassy meadows, birch and spruce forest, and a mosaic of wetlands that contain cultural sites with deep significance to the Tyonek tribe.
